Technical Associate II – Enterprise Analyst

Job Summary:

Working closely with technical experts in CRS country programs, your skills and knowledge will contribute to the building and expansion of CRS’s innovative agriculture blended finance initiative- Isidro. Successful applicants will work with country programs and the Isidro team to identify clients, including Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) and farmer cooperatives, conduct screening/assessments, and coordinate capacity building of potential clients / applicants to support Isidro’s Central American opportunity pipeline. The successful candidate will also provide pre and post investment technical support to new and existing portfolio companies. In addition, the candidate will also support the development of Isidro’s growing data management needs, by developing tools and systems to organize Isidro’s client database and support performance tracking.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with country programs and partners to identify promising SME clients for Isidro.
• Provide case management to Isidro’s Central American clients.
• Coordinate country program teams and/or directly carry out enterprise screening, capacity assessments, strategic & business planning, and monitoring and evaluation of impact.
• Provide direct training and technical support to agricultural SME’s and/or supervise and coordinate the contracted technical and business service providers.
• Support the development of forms, tools and systems, to manage and analyze Isidro’s growing client database.
• Research technical information and analyze business and geographical information related to value chains, business development services, and agricultural finance mechanisms to support country program teams engaging with Isidro.
• Support Isidro’s communication needs by drafting, developing, and presenting marketing and communication materials such as presentations, case studies, investment pitches, business plans, and project briefs.
• Contribute to the learning agenda of Isidro by researching and analyzing information, conducting literature reviews, and gathering field data/information from partners, CRS staff, and local partners.
