High Line Canal Conservancy
Programs Assistant (March–September 2026) — Part-time, in-person role (20–25 hrs/week) supporting trail stewardship, volunteer programs, and community outreach events along the High Line Canal. Responsibilities include leading and assisting volunteer projects, event setup, environmental education, outreach tabling, and tracking participation data. Pay is $20–22/hour depending on experience, with evening and weekend hours required. Qualifications include relevant experience or education in environmental or community-focused fields, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, a valid driver’s license with vehicle access, and flexibility; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
