Introduction
The Permanent Badia and Rural Products Exhibition is a 5,000 m² eco-friendly cooperative outlet located in West Amman near the 7th Circle, on land donated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The exhibition is designed to market high-quality cooperative and rural products while telling the story of Jordan’s Badia and rural communities. It includes a 1,250 m² indoor hall, modular outdoor booths, restaurants, training and conference facilities, and a landscaped outdoor event area.
Within this framework, the Badia Project aims to strengthen the economic resilience of rural and Badia communities by supporting cooperatives, SMEs, and home-based producers to sustainably access markets and improve their business performance. A key pillar of this effort is the establishment and operation of a structured capacity-building and training programme linked to the Permanent Exhibition.
UNDP seeks to engage a qualified service provider to design, deliver, and support an integrated training programme that enhances the business, compliance, marketing, and financial readiness of targeted beneficiaries.
The objective of this assignment is to design and implement a practical, market-oriented training programme that strengthens the capacities of cooperatives, SMEs, and rural producers to develop viable businesses, comply with regulatory requirements, and sustainably participate in the Permanent Badia and Rural Products Exhibition and related markets.
