Title:                                  Consultancy for Technical Specialist – Bioprospecting Governance coherence review

Duration:                          Two (2) Months (45 working days)

The objective of this consultancy is to produce a concise yet comprehensive legal and policy coherence assessment, together with a prioritized reform roadmap, for Guyana’s bioprospecting-related regimes. The assignment will align national frameworks with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and relevant CBD and ITPGRFA decisions and will inform the NBSAP update process and the Environmental Protection Agency’s bioprospecting agenda.

Proposals must be submitted directly through the UNDP Supplier Portal no later than the deadline indicated in the system.

Requests for clarification must be submitted in writing using the messaging functionality within the portal. UNDP will respond in writing and will not disclose the identity of the requesting party.

Bidders are encouraged to indicate their intention to submit an offer by creating a draft response in the system. This will enable automatic notifications in the event of amendments to the solicitation.
