Introduction

The Feasibility Study for the modernization of the Podgorica Recycling Centre at the Livade Landfill aims to provide the Client with a comprehensive and actionable analysis to support informed decision-making. The study will assess technical, environmental, economic, financial, legal, and organizational aspects and propose its improvement, ensuring that the proposed solutions are feasible, sustainable, and compliant with national legislation and relevant European standards.

The study will build upon previous assessments, waste flow analyses, and existing documentation, incorporate site inspections and waste morphology studies, and present at least two alternative solutions for the optimization of the centre, including technical design and functional performance. The outcome will guide the Client in selecting the optimal variant for implementation, increasing operational efficiency, environmental performance, and socio-economic benefits.
