Lake Houston Wilderness Park - City of Houston
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Park Naturalist in leading and creating programming at the Nature Center.
- A special project will be assigned
- Assist with animal care and handling
- Assist with camps, programs, and other outdoor recreation programs
- Assist with all aspects of park operations, grounds maintenance, and facility maintenance
Requirements:
- Recent graduate or a college junior or senior interested in a full time 6-month position
- Must be able to work a 40-hour work week including weekends and holidays
- Have a strong interest in the parks, conservation, or animal care fields
- Individuals must be detail oriented, organized, motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Housing may be provided, and the pay is $13.50/hour
