The Center for Arts and Ecology at the Desert of Maine is seeking interns for the summer of 2026. This is a unique opportunity for university students looking to gain hands-on experience in the fields of outdoor education, ecology/geology, arts/music events, as well as media and community development.
Position Details:
- Pay rate: $18/hour
- Flexible hours based on field trips, programming, and special events
- Dates: Early May Through End of August
Responsibilities:
- Lead field trip tours and programming
- Assist with special events
- Contribute to social media and outreach
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in relevant fields
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in arts, ecology, and community engagement
