Introduction
Purpose of the Contract
The purpose of this contract is to improve transparency, communication, and customer-oriented service delivery within customs operations in Tajikistan, while increasing awareness and practical understanding of customs procedures among economic actors, especially small-scale and women cross-border traders in border regions.
Contractor’s Work and Responsibilities
The contractor will adapt existing training materials and deliver capacity-building activities for customs officers, focusing on communication, transparency, and customer service. They will also design and conduct outreach sessions, workshops, and awareness-raising activities for traders, private sector actors, and border communities. In addition, the contractor will facilitate dialogue between customs authorities and economic operators, support dissemination of clear and accessible information on customs procedures, and contribute to strengthening trust, cooperation, and predictability in customs service delivery.
