Priest-in-Charge

Are you the person God is calling to be the next Priest-in-Charge of the Ashfords Benefice; a group of five parishes set in the scenic countryside of South Shropshire?

We are seeking someone with the gifts, experience and calling to:

• provide pastoral care across the Benefice.

• guide and teach, helping us to strengthen our faith and understanding.

• inspire and encourage new initiatives for evangelism in the parishes and to grow congregations.

• ·nurture and support our lay worship leaders to develop and fulfil their potential.

• encourage us to use our talents for God’s work in the church and the community.

• engage with people of all ages.

• work alongside and support the staff and children of the local school, actively participating in its life and work.

• support our shared diocesan vision to proclaim Christ and grow disciples.
