Mt. Adams Resource Stewards
Mt. Adams Resource Stewards (MARS) is hiring additional seasonal forestry technicians to support our partnership with the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Forestry technicians will serve as vital members of a USFS pre-sales crew charged with laying out stewardship and timber sales on national forest system lands in southwest Washington. Familiarity with field forestry skills, PNW tree species, and a willingness to work long days in the outdoors, at times in inclement weather, is a necessity. Positions typically start late spring and run until winter weather closes access to work sites (typically November). If you are looking for a field forestry experience and are interested in federal land managment, this is a great opportunity!
