The AmeriCorps Outreach Educator is a position, which is shared between two departments: Marketing & Education. The goal of this position is to expand community partnerships through various educational opportunities and outreach in the Chippewa Valley. Service includes some evenings and weekends, as needed. The breakdown of the position is as follows-

  • Marketing: Build community relationships through attending outreach events, assisting with special events, and assisting the Volunteer Coordinator with large volunteer groups.
  • Education: Hosting on & off-site programming, building lesson plans & curriculums for partner organizations, assisting with summer camps and field trips, and assisting with daily care for our live animal ambassadors.

Service Time:  Beaver Creek Reserve Training: September 8-11, 2026 (attendance required)  AmeriCorps Service begins September 14, 2026– August 27, 2027 (1,700 Hour AmeriCorps Term) (51 weeks @ 35-40 hrs/wk)
