Under the overall supervision of the Programme Coordinator and the direct supervision of the National Project Officer (Regular Pathways & Socioeconomic Integration) this position is responsible for providing individualized case management and integration support to migrants, helping them overcome barriers and achieve successful social and economic inclusion. The incumbent works closely with migrants, service providers, local authorities and community organizations to ensure coordinated support, promote access to rights and services and strengthen integration pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks to be performed under this contract
- Support individualized case management and referral follow-up for migrants, ensuring timely needs assessment, documentation, coordination with relevant service providers, tracking of assistance provided, and regular follow-up to support access to services and progress toward integration outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive case management services to migrants, including needs assessment, development of individualized integration plans, and regular follow-up to support their social and economic inclusion.
- Conduct detailed intake interviews to identify clients’ needs, skills, vulnerabilities, and barriers to integration (e.g., housing, employment, language, legal status), and prioritize appropriate interventions.
- Facilitate access to essential services, including housing, healthcare, education, language training, and employment support, through referrals and coordination with relevant service providers.
- Assist clients with job readiness, including CV development, interview preparation, skills identification, and referral to job opportunities or training programs in collaboration with employment partners.
- Track and document client progress against integration plans; regularly update case files and adjust support strategies based on evolving needs and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, confidential case records and prepare reports on client outcomes, service delivery, and emerging trends or challenges affecting migrant integration.
- Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure access to services and fair treatment; support clients in navigating administrative systems and understanding their rights and responsibilities.
- Deliver orientation sessions and workshops on topics such as local systems and services, labour market access, cultural adaptation, and community participation.
- Ensure proper management of client data in line with data protection and confidentiality standards; maintain organized and up-to-date case management systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, NGOs, community organizations, and service providers to improve coordination and integration pathways for migrants.
- Gather feedback from clients on services received; identify service gaps and contribute to improving program quality and responsiveness.
- Work closely with colleagues across sectors (protection, livelihoods, housing, health) to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client support.
- Participate in meetings and conferences; maintain effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, United Nation agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the project.
Performance indicators for the evaluation of results
- # of clients enrolled in case management services.
- # of clients with an individualized integration plan developed within 10 working days of intake.
- Average # of case management follow-up sessions conducted per client per month.
- # of employment-ready clients who received job readiness support (CV preparation, interview coaching, etc.).
- # of clients referred to employment opportunities, vocational training or skills development programmes.
- # of clients securing employment, internships, apprenticeships, or self-employment opportunities.
- # of clients enrolled in education, language training, or vocational programmers.
- # of clients reporting improved social inclusion or community participation.
- # of cases closed with documented integration outcomes and exit assessments.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience; or
- High School diploma with six years of relevant professional experience
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
SKILLS
- Case Management: Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized integration plans, monitor progress, and manage complex cases effectively.
- Interviewing and Assessment Skills
- Referral and Service Coordination: Knowledge of available services and ability to coordinate referrals with government agencies, NGOs and community partners.

REQUIRED
For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
