- Minimum of a masters-level degree in a relevant field
- 2-6 years of relevant professional experience

Demonstrated technical depth, technical breadth, expertise and experience in most of the following areas:
- Solid experience in a field such as finance (including, for example, a major commercial or investment bank; international financial institution; export credit agency, private equity firm; insurance), corporate development/mergers & acquisitions, management consulting, and/or financial advisory, preferably related to emerging markets.
- Strong financial, credit, and underwriting/risk assessment skills; sound business judgment, and preferably experience related to negotiating financial or guarantee/insurance contracts.
- Extensive knowledge of emerging markets finance and economic development, as well as high-level understanding of political and sovereign risk, and financial/ insurance products used to mitigate such risks.
- Experience in portfolio supervision, project management, and investor relations, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes is a plus.
- Experience in product development, innovation, or process improvement within financial or operational contexts is a plus.
- Capacity to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms including Excel, Power BI, SQL, and/or market intelligence systems such as Bloomberg, Dealogic, and Debt Domain.
- Leadership potential, including accountability and results orientation, ability to influence and inspire results, and manage self, projects, people and results.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills: quantitative, qualitative, analytical, strategic; and sound business judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Flexibility and adaptability to working in complex multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural contexts.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages would be an advantage
