The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce (www.ccitabel.com) is a non-profit association under Belgian law and is legally and financially autonomous. It was founded in 1950 to foster contacts between Belgium and Italy. Its resources come mainly from contributions of its members and from the benefit of its activities. The Chamber is recognized by the Italian Government under the law 01.07.1970 n.518. It is part of the Assocamerestero, the Italian Chambers of Commerce Association abroad, composed by 81 Chambers worldwide. The Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce is the point of reference par excellence for any company willing to promote its own business and widen its network in Italy and in Belgium. The Chamber indeed offers a wide range of promotional services, assistance and consultancy, which represents an advantage for its members.
For a start as soon as possible, we are looking for a Membership & Business Development Coordinator.
OVERAL PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Secretary General, the Membership & Business Development Coordinator will be responsible in developing and managing the members’ network of the association. In addition, she/he will be in charge of the development of synergies and collaborations with local and Italian stakeholders, SMEs, organizations and Italian Trade Fairs.
The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Membership strategy, scouting and management
- Drafting of communication materials for the BICC’s members
- Creation, promotion and management of workshops/webinars/conferences/events for the BICC’s members and network
- Support to the internationalization of Italian and Belgian SMEs
- Market research and business contact
- Commercial, marketing, and administrative consultancy
- Organization and management of professional delegations of buyers visiting Italian trade fairs;
- Organization and management of B2B meetings between Belgian and Italian companies;
REQUIREMENTS
- Italian mother tongue. Excellent command and communication skills, both verbally and in writing in French are required. Being fluent in English is an asset;
- Understanding of the functioning of the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad network and activities;
- Academic degree, preferably in economics, law, communication and/or foreign languages;
- Quick learner, being able to contribute to membership and business development activities of the association;
- Excellent knowledge of digital communication and social media.
- Demonstrated event and project management experience;
- Good time management capabilities;
- Good knowledge of Office package.
