Overview :
The United Nations Development Programme in the Republic of Kazakhstan (UNDP) in the framework of the projects “Assistance in Updating Kazakhstan’s Nationally Determined Contributions” and “Climate Promise” and “Development of Kazakhstan’s Eighth National Communication and Preparation of Two (Fourth and Fifth) Biennial Reports to the UNFCCC” is announcing a national competitive bidding for individuals for the position of Communication Expert of Climate Change Portfolio.

Place of work: Nur-Sultan city.
The following documents in PDF format must be attached to your offer and sent to [email protected] with Ref.2021-045 in the subject not later than 18:00 p.m. Nur Sultan Time zone (GMT+6) on April 29, 2021:
- Duly accomplished Annexes 4 “Offeror’s Letter to UNDP confirming interest and availability for the Individual contractor” using provided UNDP template; “Financial Proposal” Annex 5 that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs, as per template provided. These documents should be provided separately from other required below documents; Annexes 4-5 must be password protected!
- Detailed CV, where previous work experience in similar projects should be included, as well as contact details (email and phone number) and skills relevant to the assignment;
- Brief essay explaining why prospective candidate considers him/herself as the most suitable for the assignment;
- Three (3) Promo different materials to assess professionalism and creativity of expert (human story, interview, photo story, article etc)
- Please select three (3) materials (links are possible) that, from your point of view, best reflect your professional experience. There should be 3 different formats for your choice. Accompany the material with a little explanation
- Link to mass media events (campaigns) conducted by candidate
- Please send no more than three (3) links to the conducted campaigns. Attach a small description to your proposal with a description of your role and the tasks that you and the team faced for the campaign.
- Other documents certifying the work experience, expertise, education, and skills (qualification improvement certificatesdiplomas, awards, etc.).
Annexes 4-5 are attached to the tender documentation in WORD format.
Financial proposals (Annexes 4-5) which are not encoded will be rejected automatically. ONLY fully submitted applications would be considered for evaluation!!!
Late applications will be disqualified automatically.
