Communication & Public Relations Trainee

Finabel – European Army Interoperability Centre is hiring! We are looking for a Communications Trainee to start from May 2021. You must be available for a minimum of 3 months (up to 12 months). Depending on government regulations surrounding COVID-19, the role may be at least partially remote-based. Otherwise, you will be expected to be in the office in Brussels.

The Communications Trainee will have the following tasks:

– Promote the organisation on social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube))

– Promote our research papers, events and activities

– Manage Finabel’s Website

– Produce creative contents on the behalf of Finabel

– Take part in High Level Events in Belgium and abroad on behalf of Finabel to promote the organization

– Interns are welcome to propose their own ideas/projects to improve Finabel’s communication

Requirements:

– Be at least in the first year of Master’s degree

– Have a proven working knowledge of written and spoken English (C1)

– Show interest in Finabel’s activities

– Demonstrate relevant knowledge/ability for the handling of social media, websites and other communications tools (WordPress, Canva)

STRONGLY DESIRED ASSETS:

– Experience in video-making and video-editing
– Background knowledge of Digital Marketing techniques
