Call for Experts to support evaluation/impact assessment of the EU general pharmaceutical legislation – European Union

The assignment

Support related to the evaluation of the general pharmaceutical legislation (Directive 2001/83/EC on the Community code relating to medicinal products for human use and Regulation (EC) No 726/2004 laying down Community procedures for the authorisation and supervision of medicinal products for human and veterinary use and establishing a European Medicines Agency). In addition, support related to the impact assessment underpinning the revision of the general pharmaceutical legislation, in line with the objectives spelled out in the Pharmaceutical Strategy for Europe.

The Position

Your role will involve bringing key insights to support the design, collection, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative public health-related data in the pharmaceuticals’ field.

The Person

We are looking for two expert profiles:

• Profile 1: experts with a minimum of 15 years professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years in the evaluation/impact assessment assignments relating to EU public health legislation. Expertise in fields relating to pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.

• Profile 2: experts with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience. Relevant PhD studies can be considered professional experience. Experience in the delivery of impact assessment/evaluation studies for the European Commission and/or national governments.
