Deputy Chief Compliance Officer

Experience / Training

Qualification

• Typically, a Master’s degree with emphasis in Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, Fraud Management, Law or Accounting. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Experience

• 15+ year of relevant and progressive experience working in compliance or related field; of which at least 5 in a managerial capacity;
• Certified Fraud Examiner Certificate preferred;
• Certification in conducting investigations related to vulnerable populations and sexual exploitation survivors preferred;
• Broad knowledge of investigative principles and understanding of compliance concepts and design;
• Experience in international NGO working in developing countries;
• Experience in an organization that is geographically distributed, with multiple headquarter locations;
• Business process improvement experience;
• Knowledge of the US Sentencing Guidelines and US corporate compliance requirements;
• Experience interfacing with senior management leadership, leveraging strong intellectual, conceptual, and analytical skills and working in diverse cultural teams;
• Experience in a compliance or equivalent function;
• Investigations and/or audit experience;
• Experience designing and implementing risk management and internal control policies, processes and procedures;
• Change management experience;
• Demonstrated experience of attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills;
• Strong writing and communication skills;
• Ability to travel internationally;
• Project Management skills
