Intern, European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP)
The European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP) serves as a platform for dialogue and exchange between the European political foundations, civil society organisations, active in the fields of democracy support and sustainable development, and the institutions of the European Union.
Today, the network brings together over 50 member foundations from 23 EU Member States and 6 political families, represented at the European Parliament, namely: ECR, EPP, Greens, GUE, Renew Europe and S&D. Our members are active in over 100 countries around the world, where they bring civic education, support democratic processes and sustainable development through work with civil society and political actors.
ENoP is looking for an Intern to join a team of four people to implement its EU project.
Main responsibilities & tasks:
- Assist in activity implementation (e.g. report drafting, monitoring of registrations, event follow-up) under the supervision of Administrative Assistant
- Support in project activity monitoring
- Assist in data gathering and researching background material
- Drafting research content under the supervision of Senior Policy & Liaison Officer
- Participation in ENoP thematic events and contribution with content ideas
- Identifying pool of experts on ENoP project areas
- Mailing lists update and composition
- Support in daily office tasks
- Any other duties that might be required in the light of the main purpose of the position
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in political science, international relations, communication
- Excellent English language skills; knowledge of another European language would be an asset
- Advanced IT skills in MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Very good writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a highly collaborative environment with multiple priorities
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with/knowledge of EU institutions and latest political developments
- Demonstrated interest in EU development cooperation/democracy support policies
- Belgium work permit
Working conditions:
- 6 month full time internship
- 500 €/month will be allocated for the duration of the internship
