Experience / Training
Required
- Postgraduate/graduate degree (or equivalent) in global health/public health/community health and/or proven experience in rural health care or integrated development
- Strong track record of working in community/global health or integrated development in a low-income country
- Strong international project management experience
- Experienced and skilled in supporting the recruitment and management of staff
- Experience of collating and managing programme data across multiple sites and teams
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong written communication skills, with experience of preparing communication outputs for scientific audiences and reports for funders
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to and work effectively with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures, at all levels
- Capacity to undertake research and programme evaluation as part of a team
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Google Apps, and social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google plus)
- Excellent facilitation, coaching and/or motivational skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong commitment to social justice and environmental sustainability
Desired
- Previous experience of health-environment programming
- Experience of evaluating complex, multisector interventions
- Experience of managing budgets and leading teams
- High level of spoken French
Salary
- Two-year renewable contract.
- Salary based on experience and to local salary scales.
