Organization Profile:
Rebuilding & Development Organization, also known as “IMAAR”, is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental civil society organization. “IMAAR” was established at the first quarter of 2016 by a group of Syrian Engineers, Economists and Lawyers residing in the countries of Syria, Turkey and others; in order to work mainly for Syria and the Syrian people.
“IMAAR” head office is located in Gaziantep, Turkey; in addition it has branch in the city of Daret Azza / Aleppo governorate. Generally, “IMAAR” is active in all Syrian regions; and particularly in the NW. It is also active in all Syria’s neighboring countries and the LEVANT area, in which the Syrians people are living.
“IMAAR” targeting its projects primarily to Syrians (residents, refugees and displaced persons) and host communities; in addition to all residents of the LEVANT area. It provides its services to anyone without regard to race, color, gender, religion or political orientation.
“IMAAR” works in the various humanitarian and development sectors within the following three core tracks:
1) Humanitarian & Relief Programs Track;
2) Stabilization Support & Recovery Programs Track;
3) Rebuilding & Development Programs Track.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
The candidate should have the following minimum qualifications:
- Education: bachelor degree holder in business administration, law, economy, engineering or similar
- Experience: have 3 years experience in similar positions
- Management Skills: have high level of communications and marketing, time management, reports writing, follow-up, building relationships, presentation, meetings management.
- Personal Skills: Pro-active, task oriented, hardworking and can work under pressure within a teamwork environment.
- IT Skills: familiar with the following software and applications: Asana, all MS office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Power PI).

Knowledge: Have a good knowledge of Syrian context, familiar with humanitarian and development fields and have experience in “Early Recovery & Livelihood – ERL”, “Shelter & NFI” and “WASH” projects.

Languages: Must be fluent in English language. Arabic and Turkish languages will increase the scoring points of the candidate.
Job Description:
The employee will be a sole responsible for all communications with the Donors and Partners and securing funds for organization’s projects. The following are the main responsibilities of this job position:
- Prepare and implement a grants and partners relationships plan.
- Prepare “Grants Policy and Procedures”
- Attend all required meeting, such as clusters meetings, and present the organization in those meetings properly.
- Search for potential donors / partners, and open / maintain a proper relationships with them.
- Follow-up and coordinate with “Information Management” team in preparation of “Needs Assessments” and other information management issues.
- Writing professional proposals according to donors / partners requirements and based on the latest issued “Response Plans”, “Rapid Needs Assessments” and “Cluster Shared Reports”
- Follow up with donors/partners during the ongoing projects to meet their requirements (report, documents, plans ..etc.).
- Holding all communications with cluster’s coordination teams mainly ERL, SHNF, WASH clusters, and respond to all requested issues.
- Communicated with internal departments during the proposal development stage to collect their inputs.
- Prepare change requests during the project implementation in cooperation with program department and other related departments and submit them to donors/partners.
- Follow up with Internal departments to ensure donor compliance during the implementation.
- Support and work alongside the programs team in conducting kick-off meetings for new projects and grant periodic review meetings and grant close-out meetings.
- Support the development and drafting of concept notes, full proposals, modification requests, and supporting documents according to the program management tool.

Support the program team in program design and reporting.

Manage/ train and supervise the grants & partnerships assistant.

Participate in and support grant review meetings.

Represent IMAAR in cluster meetings or any relevant meetings.

Manage information for regular situation analysis (security, political, media, from other agencies/actors), regarding humanitarian needs and data collection from program activities.
- Maintain a donor reporting schedule and share with relevant staff on a timely basis.
- Support the development of communication tools (for internal and external use).
- Ensure the administration of grants functions in accordance with IMMAR’s standard procedures.
