Responsibilities:

 

  Assist HR Officer in the implementation of policies relating to the effective use of human resources (HR) conditions, recruitment process, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and staff absence according to the Iraqi labor law.

  • Assist HR Officer to facilitate the recruitment process, including developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, scheduling interviews, contacting shortlisted candidates, interviewing candidates (if required), and preparing employment contracts.
  • Report social security lists of staff the HR Officer.
  • Populate the HR database, and maintain staff records and files.
  • Prepare and follow up on correspondences between NPA and other parties such as government departments, public and private organizations, and companies.
  • Understand and be fully aware of NPA’s ‘Actions On’ regarding office/villa security & medical incidents.
  • Preparing and reporting monthly timesheets, training, performance evaluation for local staff.
  • Archive all HR soft-copy and hard-copy documents on daily basis. 
  • Responsible for handling all air tickets and transport booking for local staff and expat and maintain proper records and supporting documents.
  • Maintain basic filing for the Ramadi office/project.
  •  Preparing and reporting monthly timesheets, training, performance evaluation for local staff.
  • Archive all HR soft-copy and hard-copy documents on daily basis,  maintain basic filing for the Ramadi office.
  •  Responsible for handling all air tickets and transport booking for local staff and expat and maintain proper records and supporting documents.
  • Ensure mobile communications are maintained at all times and in the event of an emergency, be prepared to return to the office outside working hours.
  • Take the responsibilities of HR Officer when HR Officer is not present.
  • Translation of correspondence in and out.
  • Any additional duties as may be required.

 

Required qualifications:

Education:

Must have:

  • Bachelor in administration, or any other related field.

Experience:

Must have:

  • 3 years experience in this field.

Desirable:

  • Experience in working with International NGOs.

 Other qualifications:

  • Verbal proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and other essential programs.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication and understanding skills.
  • Able to work effectively under stressful situations, & adapt to, difficult conditions.
  • Willingness & ability to travel within the country.
