Operations Coordinator
WRI China
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to support WRI China’s operations and administration. Besides the day-to-day support to the Operations team, you will be an important bridge between the Operations and Program teams. As part of the “One WRI” policy, you will also need to liaise and coordinate with the relevant teams at WRI Global Office to ensure compliance and consistency with WRI’s global policies. Your main areas of responsibilities include general operations support, accounting, office procurement, events, and resource center.
Responsibilities
Lead office sustainability initiatives to promote sustainable practices in the office and during project implementation.
Develop and maintain a resource center to store, manage, display, and disseminate the knowledge products produced by WRI and external references (both physical and online) to help staff advance their research and knowledge.
Handle procurement of general office supplies and services and coordinate with WRI’s travel agent on staff travel related matters, including International SOS matters.
Coordinate office-wide, non-programmatic events and activities such as annual office retreats and informal staff activities/events.
Support the Accountant on petty cash management, wire transfer payment , individual income tax declaration, and other accounting and finance related matters as requested.
Support the Human Resource Manager on intern management, recruitment and onboarding support, and other tasks as appropriate.
Provide day-to-day operations supports to the Operations team and other staffs including attending to phone and visitors’ enquires, as defined by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Good interpersonal skills and passionate to work with people across all levels and with different cultures.
Willingness to learn and practice new knowledge on office operations.
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Some knowledge on office facilities management, procurement management, and/or knowledge product management will be a plus.
Commitment to WRI’s mission and values.
College degree.

Salary and Benefits: Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.
