Under the guidance of the Chief of PMCD team and in close collaboration with PMCD CoE team members, the individual contractor will assist in supporting the four pillars through partnership and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. The overall objective of this role is to support implementation of key PMCD programmes and workshops, including coordination of requests for workshops, webinars, individual and group coaching between PMCD clients and PMCD coaches. Additionally, the consultant will support the integration of the competency framework in career development. This is not envisaged to be a full-time service and will be based on the demand for services requested.
How can you make a difference?
- Support the integration of the competency framework into career development
- Support the roll out of the REACH Programme globally
- Support coordination of PMCD programmes and workshops including coordination of requests for workshops, webinars, individual and group coaching from the global HR counterparts and other UNICEF staff
- Liaise directly with PMCD Facilitators/Coaches to coordinate the delivery of training programmes and or coaching interventions
- Other duties as assigned

Deliverable 1: Monthly reports of requests for services vs delivery of services

Total: 11.5 months
Reporting Requirements:
- Timely submission of monthly invoice based on actual days worked
To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, however, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Education or related field is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of professional working experience with proven track record in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Management, including development of learning programmes.
- Excellent skills in capturing, analysing, managing, retrieving and disseminating information effectively, using appropriate information system.
- Strong analytical skills, coupled with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner bother in written and oral form.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments simultaneously and adapt to changing demands and circumstances.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across a diverse audience while developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications e.g. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to analyse data to inform decision making.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of another UN working language is an advantage.
