Under the supervision of the Human Dimension Officer, who is primarily responsible for the general areas of human security, democratization and human rights, the incumbent works alongside and in co-operation with other programme staff, in particular, one (1) Programme Assistant and one (1) National Legal Officer in the areas related to human rights, including rights of national minorities, preventing and combating trafficking in human beings, preventing and combating domestic violence, promoting gender equality and women’s rights, and enhancing identification, protection, and assistance to victims and vulnerable persons. This position is responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating the implementation of activities and projects within the general areas of the enhancement of security within the human dimension and the promotion of non-discrimination, including human rights, preventing and combating trafficking in human beings, preventing and combating domestic violence, promoting gender equality and women’s rights, and enhancing identification, protection, and assistance to victims and vulnerable person. It is a critical position as information, reports, and documentation vital to the work of Programme flow through this position. It is also the central position for organization, co-ordination, and logistics for activities and projects of the Programme. This is a temporary position for maternity leave replacement from 01 June to 31 December 2021 |

| Tasks and Responsibilities | ||

Under the supervision of the Human Dimension Officer (HDO), who is primarily responsible for the general areas of human security, democratization and human rights, the incumbent is assigned to: 1. Assists with the development, implementation and monitoring of programmatic tasks
2. Organizes and co-ordinates activities and events in support of programmatic and project activities
3. Maintains contacts with governmental officials, NGOs and international organizations
4. Participates in meetings and thematic Working Group meetings within the settlement process
5. Conducts secretarial, clerical and administrative tasks
6. Serves as the Mission’s alternate Anti-Trafficking Focal Point
7. Perform other duties as required

| Remuneration Package | ||
| Monthly remuneration is EUR 764.50. OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation in Moldova. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. | ||
