The Role
The Donor Contracts and Compliance Coordinator will contribute to achieving high quality programming by effective grants management including compliance requirements, reporting, internal and external communication to donors and relevant stakeholders as required. Managing the grant management system (OPAL & CRIMSON) up to date and as per the required standards, He/she shall ensure that program and support teams are well informed of donor and Oxfam compliance regulations and requirements. This position will provide donor compliance & Grant Management System training, capacity support, and technical assistance to staff at country level with responsibilities for operational donor compliance, donor contract management systems, donor reporting, and risk management related to restricted funding. The position will provide support in partnership contract management and coordination. Provide Support to the country team to achieve high quality grants and system management including contractual and systems compliance, record management and archiving.
What we are looking for
- Master’s degree in social sciences, Preferably Business Administration, Finance with 5 – 7 years’ experience in I/NGO in compliance and donor contract management
- Experience of working with institutional donors such as ECHO, EC, DFID, MoFA Netherlands, UN agencies and different Oxfam affiliates
- Experience and know-how of using custom web-based donor contract management software
- Self-motivated, target-driven and an efficient approach to grant management;
- A team player with highly developed interpersonal, influencing and relationship skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- Inter-personal communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external audiences
- Effectively manage own time and oversees basic processes
- Proven Experience of donor relations and compliance rules and regulations
- Good administrative and numerical skills and attention to detail;
