Position description

The Parliament Magazine – the magazine and website written exclusively for EU policymakers – seeks a reporter to join its editorial team.

The role includes:

• Writing news, analysis and features;
• Covering events and press briefings;
• Interviewing EU policymakers;
• Sub-editing and publishing online and print content;
• Driving social media engagement;
• Building contacts within the EU institutions.

The successful candidate will:

• Write clear, concise, accurate and eye-catching copy;
• Have strong copy editing and social media skills;
• Be English mother tongue or have a thorough command of written and spoken English.

Experience of reporting on EU policymaking is an advantage but not essential.

Anticipated Starting date: 01 July 2021
