The Warehouse Assistant for World Medical Mission helps handle the flow of medical materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse and supports the projects of Samaritan’s Purse and World Medical Mission.  The exciting part of this position is being able to see those same materials and equipment being used to set up a clinic or other facility in a country that has no medical assistance and knowing that it is being used, not only to help the physical needs, but it is having an eternal impact!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Receive donations to both Samaritan’s Purse and World Medical Mission.

2. Inventory and arrange materials in the warehouse.

3. Help Warehouse Manager to select and prepare medical supplies for shipment.

4. Shrink-wrap medical supplies and prepare wooden crates for shipment of medical equipment.

5. Prepare packing list and documents needed for shipment from warehouse.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• The individual must maintain a personal relationship with and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous warehouse experience desirable.
