Summary/General Purpose of Job 

Develops, implements, and evaluates bilingual programs at ProBAR. Provides broad-based support to multiple HR functions. 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)  

  • Provides oversight of ProBAR’s bilingual talent acquisition process to include development, implementation, and evaluation of language proficiency assessments, the posting of bilingual jobs [internally and externally] and assisting departments in the selection and training of bilingual applicants and employees.   
  • Assists in the development of ProBAR training and development programs, departmental training programs related to ABA/Human Resources goals and objectives, and bilingual employee engagement opportunities.   
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates bilingual (Spanish/English) training programs.   
  • Routinely responds to employee HR-related questions utilizing available policy and past practices, referring only the most complex questions to higher authorities with HR.  
  • Routinely provides administrative support to all HR functions to ensure mission success. 
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all HR information to which they are exposed either through day-to-day activities or work presence within the HR department.  
  • Must be familiar with conducting virtual meetings, training, and observations on software such as Zoom, Teams, etc. 
  • Performs other related duties as required.  

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications 

  • Possession of an associate degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with courses in human resources management, employee development, organizational psychology, or related fields, or the equivalent of two (2) years as a professional trainer to include developing, evaluating, and conducting training programs.   
  • Two (2) years of experience as a professional trainer to include developing, evaluating, and conducting training programs.
  • At least one (1) year of providing human resources support to an HR department in an organization providing bilingual services through bilingual (Spanish) employees.    
  • Must be fluid in Spanish and possess excellent English and Spanish written and communication skills.   
  • Strong organizational, time management, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, strong up front and group presentation skills, facilitation, influencing skills required.  
  • Proficient level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. and Adobe.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact with all levels of the organization and offices, and effectively deal with various departments.  
  • Must have reliable internet and phone connection. 

Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience  

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with courses in human resources management, employee development, organizational psychology, or related fields or the equivalent of four (4) years as a professional trainer to include developing, evaluating, and conducting training programs.  
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a professional trainer developing, implementing, evaluating organization-wide training programs in an organization providing bilingual services through bilingual (Spanish) employees.

Extent of Travel Required in the Job  

As a normal course of business, this job will typically require travel of less than 5% of the time.

COVID-19 Response: 

ProBAR leadership has responded proactively to support the health and wellbeing of our staff and the individuals we serve. Salary:

Starting pay range with starting pay based on experience: $ 43,680.00 – 48,360.00.
