The company

European Society for Emergency Medicine (EUSEM) is a federation of national member societies and individual members. We  promote research and education and the recognition of Emergency Medicine across Europe. Our members are doctors, nurses, clinical researchers and paramedics coming from over 30 countries. For our members, we organizes various educational courses, a European annual congress as well as the European Board Examination. We also conduct clinical research to improve the standard of care in emergency medicine.

As the team is small, we are  looking for a full time multitasking administration and project manager, who will be able to coordinate different types of activities and is a team player.

What will you do?

  • Administrative and logistical  organization of the European exams in emergency medicine.
  • Provide support to the chairmen of the various committees: support their activities, which includes guideline development, scientific  publications, organizing meetings and courses.
  • Maintaining the bookkeeping of the society. Following up on payments including registration to activities and membership renewal.
  • Support the development of marketing and communication for promoting society activities.
  • Managing data for research projects.

Who are you?

  • You have a master’s degree preferably in a health related field or in business management.
  • You are a highly organized and enthusiastic team player.
  • You are able to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent administrative and logistical coordinating skills.
  • Experience in or knowledge of bookkeeping is desirable.
  • Experience in digital marketing and communication is an added bonus
  • Excellent knowledge of oral and written English.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office including Excel and comfortable with numerical and written data.
  • Have the ability to use sound judgement, initiative, tact and diplomacy when handling challenging situations
