Accountable for the provision of specific operational oversight of the development and potential deployment of CLE programming and other entity educational programming for an assigned section or entity.

 


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

-Provides specific operational oversight of the development and potential deployment of CLE programming and other entity educational programming for an assigned section or entity.

-Conceptualizes, develops, and implements new programs consistent with the assigned subject areas and goals of the respective entity.

-Oversees the submission of MCLE, speaker administration and invitations, leadership meetings, distance, and stand-alone and co-sponsored events.

-Accountable for achieving and expanding the sections’ non-dues revenue objectives related to assigned

programming.

-Accountable for maintaining, reporting, and preparing corrective action plans related to an assigned, approved budget.

-Routinely interfaces with members, vendors, and potential business partners.

-Trains and leads programming staff to provide support to regional meetings and program logistics.

-Cultivates prospective outside business partnerships and encourages co-sponsorships.

-Provides coaching, counseling, feedback, performance appraisals, and, when necessary, applies discipline to an assigned team.

-Performs other related duties as required.

 


Required Education, Qualifications, Experience

-Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

-At least four years’ experience in association program management.

-At least three years’ experience developing proposed programs for CLE consideration.

-Previous experience in budget management to include reporting, analysis, and budget compliance for a major section.

 


Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience

-Previous experience in adult learning.

-At least two year’s previous experience supervising an assigned team which must have included coaching, counseling, providing feedback, conducting performance appraisal, and, where necessary, applying discipline.
