HOW ABOUT WORKING FOR SAFER EUROPE?
Our client is a European agency responsible for the operational management of large-scale IT systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. The agency is located in Strasbourg, Brussels and Tallinn. CIVITTA is providing external assistance services to the agency and we are hereby selecting candidates for the following position in Strasbourg: Physical Security Support (eu-LISA, Strasbourg).
You will be working together with the client’s security team and are responsible for the physical security of the site. This means coordinating the work of security guards and receptionists, drafting security related procedures and instructions, monitoring and processing security related messages, handling site access accreditation requests, supporting the coordination and administration of the emergency response capability, providing support during security incident analysis and risk assessments.
Your tasks in more detail are:
- Handle and review site access accreditation requests following the procedures, provide guidance;
- Control of on-site presence for COVID security management;
- Monitor and process messages sent to the functional email boxes;
- Manage access control systems, video surveillance systems and other security and/or safety systems;
- Support the management of the security guards and receptionists, coordinate them, provide training;
- Provide administrative support for guard force operating procedures and instructions;
- Support the coordination and administration of the emergency response capability;
- Provide support during security incident analysis;
- Perform security and safety risk assessments for the site or special events;
- Be part of the Emergency Response Capability and act as first line responder in case of security incident;
- Prepare documents such as reports, notes, presentations, etc. in both English and French;
- Coordinate the flow of work in liaison with staff members from Security unit and/or other eu-LISA department and units;
- Participate in planning and organisational work;
- Take security measures as part of ad-hoc events with stakeholders;
- Support in the definition of strategies and policies and implementation thereof;
- Perform any other security related tasks as required by the eu-LISA Security Officer/security team.
Education and experience:
You are expected to have a physical security background with the experience supporting security and surveillance planning, team management, routine and emergency procedures coordination.
You should have a university degree (3 years attested by diploma). Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably more.
You are a team player with good communication, presentation and negotiation skills, able to multitask and make quick decisions. High level of accuracy, loyalty, confidentiality and professionalism is expected.
Your English and French are fluent.
You are a national of European Union countries, or national of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
