ABOUT THE JOB:

The Agency is looking for an Inter-institutional Stakeholder Relations Manager to join our dynamic Agency. Reporting directly to the Head of Office of the Executive Director, the successful candidate will be in charge of leading and enhancing the level of the Agency’s interactions with its key institutional stakeholders, including the EU Member States and EU Institutions and other key stakeholders.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The jobholder will be entrusted with the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the processes and activities necessary to ensure and enhance the level of the Agency’s interactions with its key institutional stakeholders, ensuring the appropriate representation of the Agency as needed;
  • Lead the process to ensure the monitoring of and reporting on activities of the EU institutions and their work (e.g. legislative activities) as relevant to the mandate of the Agency;
  • Ensure the timely provision of analysis and advice to the Agency’s top management on new and potential stakeholder relationship activities of the European Space Programme across all of its components;
  • Define and lead the process across the Agency to ensure regular coordination and close cooperation across the Agency’s departments concerning interinstitutional stakeholder relations, including managing an Agency-level interinstitutional stakeholder relations plan;
  • Other activities as required by the Head of OED.

The place of employment will be Brussels, Belgium. However, the jobholder may be requested to go on frequent missions to the Agency’s headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

The selection procedure is open to applicants who satisfy the following eligibility criteria, on the closing date for application:

  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a diploma when the normal period of university education is four years or more

                         OR

  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a diploma and at least one year of appropriate professional experience when the normal period of university education is three years
  • In addition to the above, appropriate professional experience of at least six years after obtaining the required diploma
  • Be a national of a Member State of the European Union
  • Be entitled to his or her full rights as citizen
  • Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service
  • Meet the character requirements for the duties involved
  • Have a thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the European Union to the extent necessary for the performance of his/her duties
  • Be physically fit to perform the duties linked to the post.
