Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of WHO Angola Communication Officer or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Digital account will:
- Manage WHO social media digital pages
- Develop regular WHO social media digital calendar content
- Collect content and take quality picture to promote WHO programs and health subjects
- Produce banners and other key digital content on key health subjects
- Conduct regular media monitoring
- Track misinformation and rumors in digital platform using different digital key insights platforms
- Lease under WHO Communication Officer with key partners including MOH to promote health
- Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor
Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Have completed a degree of studies in communications (bachelor’s level or equivalent), technologies or IT at a university or equivalent institution prior to commencing the assignment or have recently graduated in Public Relations, Journalism, marketing, or a related field.

Public information and reporting, Other communications related experience
- Ability to communicate with respect, tact and diplomacy
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, techniques and practices of online dissemination of information, via social media mechanisms and the web and.
- Thorough understanding of the impact of communications on the reputation, image, and success of an organization, as well as the role the web and social media has in this regard.
- Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills;
- Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing;
- Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a range of partners, including grassroots community members, religious and youth organizations, and authorities at different levels; familiarity with tools and approaches of communications for development;
- Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel;
- Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and email/internet; familiarity with database management; and office technology equipment;
- Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines;
- Desirable: valid national driver’s license and proven ability to drive manual gear 4×4 over rough terrain; (if not applicable, delete)
- Sound security awareness;
- Have affinity with or interest in health promotion, volunteerism as a mechanism for durable development, and the UN System.
