Requirements & Experience:
• Recognized leadership in the Rights + Communities sector
• A passion for nature and commitment to saving wildlife in wild places
• 15 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with an ability to inspire a team, support staff ideas and entrepreneurship, delegate authority and responsibility, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Known as a charismatic communicator with excellent writing, editing, and oral presentation skills.
• Stellar interpersonal skills, including an ability to work, respectfully, with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and cultures, within a dispersed team that includes both WCS and non-WCS staff.
• Effective at both collaborative and independent work.
• English fluency essential, additional language fluency particularly in Spanish and French is desirable.
• Willingness to travel internationally essential
