This consultancy aims at assessing the country’s forest carbon mitigation potential, evaluate different elements required to participate in carbon markets and provide a business case to attract private investments in REDD+ related benefits. The assessment will make a significant contribution in taking forward the implementation of Rwanda´s Green Growth Programme, as part of the country´s efforts to address the risks of climate change, while transforming its economy. The assessment will have three specific outputs structured in activities.
