General Description of the Programme:
GOAL an International Humanitarian Organisation has had a presence in Turkey since 2013 and has been contributing to the migrant response since 2016 with a focus on responding to needs in health service delivery, social safety nets and the protection of vulnerable and marginalised migrants in southern Turkey.
GOAL has been working in Syria since 2013, responding to the acute needs of conflict-affected communities. GOAL is working in Idleb Governate, both through direct implementation and through partners, delivering food, non-food programming to highly vulnerable populations, and provision of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) through support to Water units, as well as emergency support to recently displaced households.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the Access operations and GOAL security guards daily in coordination with Access manager.
- Give safety and security briefings to new staff and give weekly updates to all staff in coordination with Access officers.
- Liaise directly with Access Manager daily to update about GOAL Idleb Program security issues.
- Record and track all Goal Idleb filed movement daily.
- Ensure that safety and security equipment is well maintained and functional which includes First aid Kits and Fire Extinguishers.
- Keep a data base of all health facilities in Idleb GOAL Area of Operation complete with contact information in coordination with Access manager.
- Manage all Goal filed team movement in Idleb and crossing operations between Idleb and North Aleppo in coordination with Access Office at Azaz and Access Manager.
- Manage and develop an Emergency tree contract and be sure that it is update in coordination with Access manager.
- Submit weekly security reports and daily incidents/updates to Access Coordinator.
- Keep a data about all safety equipment at Goal offices and warehouses.
- Development of emergency plans for all GOAL programs and offices in Idleb.
- Develop database for all the distribution points, making sure that they are in line with the GOAL SOPs and standards, working with programs on distribution plans, and maintaining a record for the GOAL distribution points.
- Any other responsibilities required by Access Manager.
Requirements (Person Specification):
· Good spoken and written Arabic.
· Good written English.
· Computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and power BI.
· technical skills, and experience training security field.
· Experience security reporting.
· Clear communication skills.
· The ability to record, keep and pass accurate messages is essential.
· Ability to work under pressure and react to emergency situations in a calm and logical manner.
· Good knowledge for GOAL working areas context.
· Sensitivity to gender and diversity issues in work practices.
