Our curriculum endeavors to develop students’ ability to think critically, communicate clearly, write effectively, and develop compelling argumentation based on justifiable sources of empirical evidence and analytical reasoning. We normally teach our courses via conventional “face-to-face” classes on our traditional residential campus, and a required qualification for an adjunct position in 2021/22 is to be available in Denver to teach “face-to-face” in physical classrooms on campus. Given the unknown course of the pandemic, all faculty must be capable of “pivoting” to teach in an online-only or hybrid format in the event of unanticipated challenges with the pandemic.
