Job Summary

The Business Administration Trainer is responsible for teaching a 4-6 week course in basic business skills for beginners in Namrud area.

 

Job Duties:

  • Lead beginner business administration course for 3-4 hours one day per week, for a period of 4-6 weeks from late May into late June.
  • Must be available for two meetings prior to the start of the sessions in order to confirm class syllabus.
  • Teach and train beginners on the following topics:
    • Business Plan
    • Marketing
    • Assessing Business Success
    • Staff Management and Leadership
    • Finance and Bookkeeping
    • Entrepreneurship
  • Must bring his/her own teaching resources for the training in the above topics.
  • Benefits include a teaching stipend per training day, per diem to cover fuel or taxi to and from the program site for each session.

 

Complete other activities as directed by the Line Manager and performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned for the benefit of Samaritan’s Purse with a generous and serving spirit.

  • Must have proven knowledge of business administration and experience teaching beginner users in topics such as:
    • Business Plan
    • Marketing
    • Assessing Business Success
    • Staff Management and Leadership
    • Finance and Bookkeeping
    • Entrepreneurship

               

 

Education / Experience Needed

  • High School Degree Required
  • BA Degree in Business Required
  • 1-2 years experience working for an NGO or in business/marketing preferred
  • Must have former experience teaching business courses.

 

LANGUAGE 

  • Fluent Spoken and Written Arabic required
  • Conversational Spoken and Written English preferred
