Panagora seeks a business development associate will provide a broad range of new business support for capture and proposals of new contracts including a large focus on coordination of all recruitment efforts. As part of a team, the successful candidate will also support Panagora projects occasionally, ensuring to uphold project management standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate specific business opportunities and market trends.
- Maintain business development trackers and potential procurements across Panagora Practices.
- Administration of contact and resume databases.
- Coordinate and prepare expressions of interest.
- Recruitment of staff and consultants for on-going projects and bids.
- Coordinate proposal efforts, including recruitment, partnering, non-technical writing and production.
- Coordinate to prepare cost proposals.
- Draft non-technical sections on proposals.
- Liaise with partner organizations on business development related activities.
- Coordinate and support business development meetings.
- Format CVs, bios, and past performance information for proposals, marketing materials and website.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in business development.
- Familiarity with USAID global health and international development programming.
- Experience with integrated health, private sector health programming, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and/or knowledge management
- Demonstrated new business and recruitment skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated self-starter with leadership skills, versatility, and integrity
- Experience living and working in a developing country
- Proficiency in one or more foreign languages preferred
