Business Services Coordinator (INT7715)

The Role

We are looking for a Business Services Coordinator to be based in Lilongwe, Malawi.

This is a one year fixed term contract, renewal is subject to availability of funding.

The person should have right to work in Malawi.

The person will lead on all business support services, providing superior services for a smooth day to day operation of the country program.

What we are looking for

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

  • Recognised accounting qualification
  • At least 5 year’ s experience managing the full range of financial services to an organisation, ideally with at least 2 years in the NGO or public sector
  • Proven knowledge and experience of computerised systems, preferably with accounting packages
  • Ability to delegate, coach and develop staff · Ability to manage competing tasks
  • Donor reporting experience
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of English accounting systems
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of Oxfam and to the principles of equity and justice
  • Diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills
