INNSSD is a civil initiative that supports civil society institutions and individuals achieving stability and sustainable peace. we aim to reduce violence, enhancing the role and participation of youth, women, and children in public affairs, building active citizenship, networking and building bridges between individuals and institutions.

About the role:

INNSSD is looking for motivated interns to join our team. The interns will help the main staff in real work tasks. This would give the interns an opportunity to practice working in the field and receive feedback for the tasks they complete from senior staff.

Location: The internship is expected to be completely online.

Working hours: 20 working hours with flexibility in the schedule.

Starting date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months with opportunity to extend upon mutual agreement from both sides.

Departments:

· Monitoring and evaluation

· Business development (Proposal writing and communication for Development Sector)

· Capacity Development (for the humanitarian and development sectors)

· Communication

What we offer:

· A refence letter at the end of the internship.

· Mentoring and coaching from senior staff.

· An opportunity to be promoted to a staff member (part time or full time) based on the performance during the internship.

· Attending training conducted for clients for free.

We prefer Candidates who:

  • are native speakers of English or native-like with advanced writing and communication skills.
  • Speakers of an additional language like French, Arabic, Turkish, or Kurdish would be given priority
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding and interest in development/humanitarian sector.
  • have strong knowledge or experience in the MENA region (not necessary but an asset)
  • Have very good organizational, administrative skills, analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail
  • Are willing to work in a multi-cultural work environment.
