Overview :
UN-Habitat Viet Nam is looking for a Capacity Building Consultant for project “Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building Program for Urban Development in Vietnam (ISCBP)”.
The objective of the assignment is to contribute to the capacity building interventions by (1) develop training syllabi and collate training modules and (2) develop a Project Operation Manual.
The contractor will deliver the following responsibilities:
- Collate training materials from the guidelines and templates of UN-Habitat on AOC implementation, UN procurement guidelines, the latest UN-EU Cost Norm and the Harmonized Project and Program Management
- Guidelines between Vietnam and the UN, and Vietnam’s regulations on ODA-funded project implementation, targeting the identified capacity needs
- Design strategic approach for implementing the training
- Provide training on project management for staffs and stakeholders of ISCBP and Climate Adaptation project
- Draft the Project Operation Manual (POM) in Vietnamese
- Revise the POM based on consultations with UN-Habitat and projects’ implementing partners
- Finalize the POM
