“The Centre for Civil and Political Rights aims to promote, facilitate and develop NGO engagement with the UN Human Rights Committee. The CCPR Centre’s activities target national and regional NGOs (including regional NGO networks) as well as thematic NGOs whose mandates relate to the ICCPR. The main areas of activities are the following: Promotion of the role and the participation of the NGOs in the HR Committee’s reporting procedure; Build the capacity and support NGOs in their activities related to the HR Committee, including the follow-up to the concluding observations.”
