Clinical Research Associate II OR Clinical Research RN II

Overview

As a Clinical Research Associate on this team, you will have the unique opportunity to work to improve the quality-of-life of St. Jude patients.  Currently, we are seeking a Clinical Research Associate – II or Clinical Research Associate- RN II to join our team.

The selected candidate will need be very detailed oriented, organized and be able to perform in-depth data abstraction, collection, and entry to support clinical research. The candidate will also ideally be a skilled communicator, as this role also includes working with patients and families enrolled on quality-of-life studies. We are a hard working team who care deeply about our mission, our research, our St. Jude patients and families, and each other as well.

Minimum Education

Clinical Research Associate RN II

  • Graduation from a school of nursing is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Clinical Research Associate- II

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related biomedical/bio-behavioral field required
  • Master’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience

Clinical Research Associate RN II

  • Two (2) years of clinical and/or research required
  • Clinical research experience

Clinical Research Associate II

  • Two (2) years of experience in clinical research, research, or related required with Bachelor’s degree 
  • No experience required with Master’s degree in a related field

Required Credentials

Clinical Research Associate RN II

  • Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure Non-Compact state
  • Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state

Other Credentials

  • (LC: SOCRA or ACRP) Certification in clinical research from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) must be obtained within three (3) years of assuming the position
