TIC Council is recruiting a Communications Intern to support the development, implementation and deployment of communications projects. The successful applicant will work closely with the communications team as well as the various experts within the member organisations. The internship position will run for six months and a monthly allowance will be provided. Starting date: as soon as possible

Responsibilities

  • Support the communications team in the development of communications tools such as: reports, presentations, newsletter, press releases, etc.
  • Create, publish and monitor content on the website and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter & Blog)
  • Support with event logistics (promotion, registration tracking, venue organisation, post-event activities follow-up)
  • Desk research to gather data or market intelligence
  • Assist other members of staff with their work

Profile

  • Fluency required in English (oral and written) and one other European language
  • Masters degree – preferred fields of study: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations
  • Digital media savvy
  • Excellent writing, editing and oral communications skills
  • Quick learner who can easily adapt to the fast-paced workplace
  • Conscientious, responsible, ability to work independent and as a part of a team
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to conduct research independently
  • Positive attitude, flexible, enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, team-player
  • Work experience/internship in a relevant field is an asset
