NORCAP is looking for a consultant to undertake a review of the operations of the CashCap Response Team.
CashCap is an inter-agency project which provides cash and market expertise to the humanitarian and development community. It is managed by NORCAP, the Norwegian Refugee Council’s global provider of expertise to the humanitarian, development and peacebuilding sectors.
CashCap supports the humanitarian/development community to assess and overcome gaps and barriers to appropriate use of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA). This is achieved through a roster of experts who deploy to responses for extended periods, backed up by a global technical team, the CashCap Response Team who can provide support to the experts or to actors directly.
The CashCap Response Team has been playing a key role in developing internal guidance, facilitating new deployments, providing technical support and links between existing experts. The standing contracts also ensure CashCap has ongoing capacity ready to deploy to support humanitarian operations and capacity building needs.
We would welcome proposals from qualified consultants before October 22nd. The review is expected to be undertaken in November/December 2020.
