Oxfam is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) operating in Iraq since 2014 implementing multi-sectoral programs including livelihoods and food security, water access, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), protection, gender, and advocacy. With funding from SIDA, Oxfam is implementing a 24-month project to promote economic resilience, gender equality and social cohesion through increased livelihood opportunities for women in the agricultural sector in Ninewa Governorate.
About the project
The overall objective of the project is to promote economic resilience, gender equality and social cohesion through increased livelihood opportunities for women in the agricultural sector in Ninewa Governorate.
The Role
We are looking for Consultancy -SIDA Livelihood Project:
- Design and prepare the action plan (agenda) of the training
- Prepare pre-and post-training forms and make sure all trainees fill it before and after the training
- Prepare all the documents required to deliver the business management and development training
- Conduct the training
- Write and submit training report to Oxfam by latest 10 days after the training is completed
What we are looking for
Eligibility and Qualification Requirements
The major criteria to evaluate the institutes/individuals competing for the assignment will include the following;
- Good reputation in delivering business management training,
- Experienced trainers holding certifications as master trainers,
- People with ILO’s SIYB certification are preferred
- Presence in the area of operations or willing to move easily to the area of operation for the period of assignment.
The trainer should have
- History or general experience of the firm in the field of the assignment
- Over 5 years of delivering similar assignment/ consultancies
- Education background, master’s degree in business management.
- Appreciation of the Assignment and terms of reference
- Certified business management trainer
- Methodology to be used to execute the training
- Willing to work with multi-cultural context
- Good command of English and Arabic
