The Danish Family Planning Association (DFPA) is seeking an experienced and qualified consultant to support DFPA to better identify, understand and engage international donors, corporate/private foundations, bilateral and multilateral donors, UN agencies, trusts and other institutional donors, who share our interest in SRHR, climate change adaptation and resilience and in particular their interface, in order to develop a new pipeline and secure new funding streams for the short, medium and longer term in support of DFPA’s programmes and projects in Africa and Asia.

Competences and qualifications of Consultant The Consultant should have the following competences and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in resource mobilisation/fundraising, supporting international corporate, bi-/multi-lateral and/or foundation fundraising, donor scoping and/or supporting development of fundraising strategies within the international development sector, with interest in SRHR and/or climate change adaptation and resilience/advocacy.
- Experience conducting research and synthesising information; strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to conceptualise, articulate and debate relevant issues.
- Demonstrable understanding of IPPF’s/DFPA’s/WORTH’s mandate.
- Demonstrable understanding of the interface between SRHR and climate change adaptation and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills and in report-writing and fluency in English are required.
