Oxfam in Indonesia through the Fair for All (F4A) Project seeks to promote a sustainable and inclusive value chain in the palm oil and seafood sector. Oxfam in Indonesia understands the importance of cooperation between actors in each chain to jointly develop for the fairer value chain. In line with Oxfam in Indonesia’s efforts to build engagement with the private sector, it is necessary to conduct a study to analyze the prevailing value chain in Indonesia, especially in the palm oil and seafood sectors.
Objective
- To provide insight and analysis over current condition of palm oil and seafood value chain in Indonesia.
- To assess to what extent key players in the value chain in Indonesia are committed to the principles of fairness and inclusiveness.
- To map the potential collaboration between actors to strengthen works in the palm oil and seafood value chain.
- To identify the strategic issues for CSOs to engage with the value chain players and capacity development needs of CSOs
Qualification
- Have an understanding of the value chain in the palm oil and seafood sector
- Have experience and capacity to conduct value chain analysis in Indonesia
- Have a strong networking in palm oil and seafood sector, especially with private sectors
- Having a network in the field, especially in Oxfam’s work areas in Indonesia (West Java, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi)
- Have an understanding of CSOs and gender equality
- Committed to conducting safe and fair analysis

- Detailed estimated budget for this assignment, including gross consultancy fee, budget lines for per diem, travel, accommodation costs and other meeting costs if any. Consultancy fee should be indicated in gross terms, which includes tax either 10% VAT or 2,5% for PPh.
